This review is for the Musha Red Ghi. I was looking for a new Ghi because my old Ghi pants were too tight at the waist and were not comfortable . Unisex ghis tend to be too long in the pants, sleeves and skirt and built for tall men. The Musha Red Ghi is tailored more for woman and is very flattering. The pant waistband is stretchy and there is more seat room in the pants. I can kick and do stretches more comfortably. I did not have to get the Ghi altered like my old one. The Ghi also has beautiful breathability and washes well. I recommend this Ghi.

I am a mother and grandmother of young women and girls who love their Karate. These gi’s are amazing. I have not had to do a single alteration. They fit beautifully, are durable and comfortable for each of them to train and compete in. I cannot count the number of hours, broken sewing needles and seam rippers I have gone through to alter the usual gi’s that are available. Thank you from me and mine for these!

Finally a uniform that’s made for women! I’ve been training since I was eleven years old, and now, at 34, I’m finally finding something that fits my body and all its curves. This is by far the BEST uniform I’ve ever had, and was 100% worth the investment. It’s definitely not the last one I will purchase from here. Thank you for making a uniform that’s made for women. It’s so comfortable to move in, full of snap and I feel super confident.
I’m 5’4” and 180 lbs, due to health issues it was hard to find something that fits. But this is perfect! I highly recommend!!

I have struggled since I started karate to find a gi that fit and/or to find someone to tailor it. Putting on my new gi makes me feel confident in my attire and gives me the ability to move freely without worry. In comparison to gi tops I’ve tried in the past, this one fits right out of the package without alterations. Issues I typically have with gis I’ve worn in the past include excessively long sleeves, the cut is made for a person whose build has no curves causing weird bunching, and the length/width of the tail does not hang to my mid thigh. The sleeves on the onna Kimmono gi are the closest to perfect length I can find out of a new package, but still a little long for my personal preference. The cut of this gi is the most flattering I have ever put on. It has enough contrast from shoulders to waist to the bottom of it that is sits nicely without having a bunch of extra material in the back. The tail is also wide enough it actually covers everything making me feel covered and confident. Overall my favorite feature of this top is that the cut ratios make it so I do not have to constantly pull it closed with moderate activity. However with higher intensity like jujitsu, I still find that it does require some pulling to keep it closed. The gi pants are by far my favorite part of the set. With other bigger name brands of gi I could never just put a brand new set of pants on and go train. They would be too long or too tight. The Onna Kimmono pants fit me perfectly, way beyond expectations. The pants' length falls right at my ankle, which is my preferred length. The pants accommodate for my more feminine figure so I do not have to worry about restriction of my movements. The waist band falls at a female's waist height rather than a man’s which is always too low for my body causing the pants to either ride up or fall off. The band also is wider than others I’ve tried making me feel secure without having to tie it. I highly recommend getting one and trying it for yourself!

I dont think there is a better gi on the market! This has an amazing size range for all types of bodies. The way this barely moves throughout an entire tournament is amazing! The pocket is such an amazing touch as well.

I love how soft this fabric is! I have worn a student gi and the fabric is so scratchy and just doesn't fit well. The cut is also sooo much better. I have better coverage and I have more room to move. Best of all it is super comfortable.

The Onna Red Gi I received, is not only a beautiful design, but is made really well with sturdy fabric .The details are well thought out and I especially like having the pocket inside. The customer service is phenomenal and loved how they made sure I had the right size gi. In the past I would have had to size up and then alter a lot. With the Onna gi I used it straight out of the bag. The gi fit perfectly and I did not have to do any alterations. There is also plenty of room for my solid legs and I can lift without restrictions 😁! Given the opportunity, I would definitely buy again in the future.

I don't think that I've ever worn a uniform before that I didn't have to hike up each time I was trying to throw a high kick or sink into a particularly deep stance - until now. I don't have to wear an extra shirt underneath it anymore, because the top never gapes open. I can do all kinds of punching drills, and it never twists. Without adjusting my clothing at all, I can almost do the splits (and the limitation here is definitely with me, and not the pants.) Mine was a pre-order, so it came from the first run manufactured, and there was a small flaw with the stitching on one seam. I emailed to let them know about it, even though I had already fixed it at home. And y'all, they were so nice. Their customer service team responded extremely quickly, they were very gracious, and they were able to answer some additional questions I had about their plans for future lines. Right now they have one set of sizing in multiple weights of fabric, but they plan to expand to a curvy line and a slim line, as well. I will say that the pants and sleeves are a little bit shorter than some of the uniforms I've worn in the past. This is an intentional design choice. Now that I've worn it for a while, I like it this way. I almost always rolled my sleeves up a little bit in the past. The pants being a bit of a high water situation took more getting used to. I wouldn't mind if they were a couple inches longer, but I don't mind them this length. And the waist. It's an elastic waist with a drawstring, but it's an extra wide elastic, and it's actually big enough to wear comfortably. It doesn't dig in at all, but it stays up perfectly. Plus the inside of the shoulder yoke has this really pretty lining. So anyway. All this is to say that I really recommend uniforms from this company for any female martial artists who have struggled in the past with finding a good fit.
